Hargeisa(ANN)-The government of Somaliland, has unveiled a book that contains the true national data of the Republic of Somaliland, which contains national information (Somaliland Country Profile) , such as land, sea, land, nation building and its institutions and history.

The launch of the Somaliland Country Profile was held today in Hargeisa, the capital of Somaliland, and was attended by Somaliland Vice President Abdirahman Ismail Sayli, some Somaliland government ministers, diplomats led by the Taiwanese embassy and academics.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Somaliland, has unveiled the book on the true state of Somaliland, and explained the purpose of the book and its content, Liban Yusuf Gahnug, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Somaliland, and Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs.
“The Somaliland Country Profile is a Book, which sells the national data of the Republic of Somaliland, will provide the national information of the Republic of Somaliland, and to dispel misinformation and misinformation in Somaliland. ” He said.
He said that although there were no official statistics on Somaliland’s population, the data presented in the National Profile were based on statistics compiled during Somaliland’s colonial period and other data collected by UN agencies in Somaliland.

Also, the Minister of Finance Dr. Saad Ali Shire, said it was necessary for the book (Somaliland Country Profile), to be published online (websites), to reach the world, as well as in Somali, so that our youth can learn the true history of their nation. Besides, he said it should be extended to organizations such as the European Union, the African Union and other places to make it a reality.
On the other hand, Drs. Adna Adan Ismail, spoke about the book presented and its importance to the nation of Somaliland, noting that it will play a major role in the implementation of the Somaliland cause and the recognition it seeks in the world.
All the officials who spoke at the launch of the Somaliland Profile said that there was a great need for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to present the book which would help in selling the issue of the Republic of Somaliland.
