Reports from Israeli and regional media indicate that Somaliland President Abdirahman Mohamed Abdullahi (Girro) is expected to undertake a landmark visit to Israel in the coming days, in what would mark one of the most significant diplomatic developments in Somaliland’s recent history.
According to the reports, the visit is expected to take place between 15 and 17 June and could include high-level meetings with Israeli leaders as well as the formal opening of Somaliland’s diplomatic mission in Jerusalem.
