Washington (ANN) – United States President Donald Trump has been declared in strong physical and cognitive health following a comprehensive medical examination conducted at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, according to a report released by the White House.
The medical assessment, prepared by Captain Sean Barbabella and released on Friday, concluded that President Trump possesses “strong cardiac, pulmonary, neurological and overall physical function” and remains fully capable of carrying out the responsibilities of Commander-in-Chief and Head of State.
The report comes as Trump approaches his 80th birthday next month, making him the oldest individual ever inaugurated as President of the United States.
According to the physician’s memo, Trump underwent a detailed health evaluation that included cardiovascular, respiratory and neurological examinations. The assessment also addressed questions regarding his weight and visible bruising on one of his hands, determining that neither issue affects his ability to perform presidential duties.
The president also completed the Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA), a widely used screening tool for cognitive function, achieving a perfect score of 30 out of 30. The result indicates no signs of cognitive impairment and reflects normal mental functioning.
Following the examination, Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform that “everything checked out perfectly,” expressing confidence in the outcome of the medical review.
The latest evaluation marks the third publicly known medical examination since Trump returned to the White House last year. Presidential health reports often attract significant public attention, particularly when questions arise regarding a leader’s age and capacity to serve.
The release of the report is expected to contribute to ongoing political discussions surrounding age, fitness for office and leadership in the United States as the administration continues its second term.
