The Collapse of Education is the Collapse of a Nation.
Education, by definition, is a continuous and purposeful process through which individuals acquire knowledge, skills, values, attitudes and habits that empower them to understand the world, develop their intellectual and moral capacities and contribute to the society.
Education is both a personal journey of growth and a collective societal progress, shaping minds, character and citizenship.
People, through education, learn not only what to think, but how to think, act, solve problems and participate in the advancement of their communities and humanity as a whole.
Africans are being misled and deceived through hidden issues deliberately crafted to undermine and weaken their education to hinder their intellectual progress and still, I can’t understand how even the educated have failed to grasp or understand the true purpose and the deception behind it.
Furthermore, it is well known that education is among the greatest pillars through which nations achieve development, humanity and beneficent knowledge.
However, the mental colonizers operate in a more subtle and dangerous way, by enslaving the minds of African nations, turning their intelligence backward and preventing them from taking steps toward progress and enlightenment.
Thus, mental colonizers resort to many hidden and indirect methods, ways that are not easily noticed to weaken confidence, corrupt education and keep nations dependent and divided and so destroying any nation does not require the use of bombs or long-range missiles, it only requires lowering the quality of education and allowing heatings in examinations.
Hence, when education falls, every pillar of society trembles, as such,
• Patients die in the hands of unqualified doctors who passed through corrupted examination systems.
• Buildings collapse under the supervision of incompetent engineers who never truly learned their craft practically.
• Economies crumble in the hands of dishonest accountants and economists who were taught that shortcuts are acceptable.
• Faith and morality decay under the influence of religious scholars who lack true understanding and integrity.
• Justice is twisted in the hands of such judges, who were once students of deceit and favoritism.
Education is not merely about acquiring certificates, it is about cultivating character, competence and conscience.
When a nation’s classrooms become centers of dishonesty instead of learning, when teachers are undervalued and students are rewarded for mediocrity, when examinations measure memory instead of understanding, then destruction has already begun, quietly and invisibly, from within.
True national defense is not found in the power of armies or weapons, but in the minds and morals of its educated citizens.
If education collapses, the nation collapses, but if education rises in truth, excellence, integrity, then no force on earth can bring that nation down.
The Fate of a Nation lies in the strength of its Education quality, thus the downfall of education becomes the downfall of every profession, every institution and ultimately, the nation itself.
When the light of learning dims, every field of human endeavor, medicine, engineering, law, economy, governance and morality begins to decay.
For education is the seed from which all disciplines grow and when that seed dies away, the entire garden of civilization fades.
Education is not merely the collection of certificates or the pursuit of employment, it is the cultivation of character, the refinement of competence and the awakening of conscience, It is also the heartbeat of national progress, the foundation of justice and the mirror that reflects a society’s moral worth and for the future generations.
When a nation’s classrooms become centers of dishonesty instead of discovery, when teachers are undervalued and students are rewarded for mediocrity instead of merit, when examinations measure cheating instead of understanding,
then the destruction of that nation has already begun, not with explosions or invasions, but quietly and invisibly, from within the very walls of its schools.
For the true defense of a nation is not measured by the size of its army or the sophistication of its weapons, but by the integrity of its teachers, the wisdom of its scholars and the moral courage of its educated citizens.
A nation that educates its people in honesty, diligence and patriotism
has already secured its sovereignty for generations to come.
Building upon those points, we must take action to ensure that we do not fall into those same pitfalls and that the quality of our education does not continue to decline to its maximum limit, a situation that no one in the community has yet realized.
We must also prevent our academic certificates from becoming meaningless papers, one that almost the whole community shares together, like the Skirt what the people of Burao once used to call “amba lay keen” , a phrase meaning “I’ve received the certificate ,” referring to something obtained without effort or merit and if immediate action is not taken to enhance the quality, the situation may deteriorate to a point beyond to repair.
Finally, let’s keep in mind that, little knowledge is dangerous and In the pursuit of shallow education exposes you to danger, frustration and harm to the community.
The consequences of educational collapse, when a country’s educational system weakens or fails, the following factors could appear:-
• The workforce becomes less skilled,
less innovative and less productive.
• Graduates cannot find meaningful
jobs due to poor quality education.
• Poverty levels may increase as
education fails to provide economic
mobility.
• Idle youth without education or
opportunity often turn to drugs,
violence or crime.
• Political manipulation and unrest
increase when people lack critical
thinking skills.
• Leaders and officials without proper
education mismanage institutions
and Corruptions ought to spread.
• Respect for ethics, responsibility and
national identity declines, too.
• Traditional values, culture and
intellectual heritage fade away.
• The most educated citizens leave
the country seeking better
opportunities abroad.
• Weak education produces poorly
trained doctors, teachers, engineers
and technicians.
• Public services collapse due to
incompetence and low standards.
• The country remains dependent on
foreign aid, experts and technology.
• Innovation, research and scientific
progress may cease or weaken.
In summary, the collapse of education means the collapse of a nation’s mind, morality and future.
Therefore, to accurately pinpoint the concern, we must carefully analyze and highlight the underlying causes of the ongoing decline in education. Few of us truly recognize that the quality of our education from primary school through university continues to deteriorate, while much of public discourse remains focused solely on inflation, Dollar exchange and other peripheral issues.
