Tehran (ANN)- Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has warned that American forces in the region could be targeted even if they seek shelter in civilian facilities.
“US soldiers fleeing to hotels will not prevent them from being targeted,” Araghchi told Iranian state television on Monday night, signaling a potential widening of Tehran’s response to ongoing U.S. military operations.
Israeli Evacuation Warning in Tehran
Meanwhile, the Israel Defense Forces issued an urgent evacuation warning for residents in Tehran’s Evin district, specifically highlighting areas near Iran’s state broadcaster.
In a statement, the Israeli military said it had conducted strikes in Tehran in recent days and would continue operations targeting what it described as regime military infrastructure. A published map marked the area in red, urging civilians to leave immediately.
“Remaining in this area puts your lives at risk,” the statement warned.
Trump: “Big Wave” Yet to Come
U.S. President Donald Trump told CNN that the American military is “knocking the crap” out of Iran but suggested a “big wave” of attacks is still ahead. He urged Iranian civilians to remain indoors, describing the streets as unsafe.
Trump also stated that U.S. military operations could continue for up to five weeks and would not stop until Washington’s objectives are achieved. He further floated the possibility of deploying ground troops, though no formal announcement has been made.
Casualties and Military Developments
The United States Central Command confirmed that four U.S. service members were killed in action following Iranian attacks.
U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth described the campaign as “limited and decisive,” insisting it is not intended to become an endless war but is aimed at neutralizing missile and nuclear threats.
Iranian state media also reported that Mansoureh Khojasteh Bagherzadeh, wife of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, died following U.S.-Israeli airstrikes. Independent verification remains limited.
Nuclear and Energy Concerns
The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) stated Monday that it has no indication Iran’s nuclear facilities were damaged. However, Tehran’s envoy claimed that the Natanz Nuclear Facility was struck.
In parallel, drone strikes and regional attacks reportedly forced shutdowns at a major Saudi refinery and key oil and gas fields in Israel and Iraqi Kurdistan. Energy markets reacted sharply, with oil prices surging amid fears of prolonged instability.
A Rapidly Expanding Conflict
With threats expanding to civilian areas, hotel facilities, energy infrastructure, and potential ground operations, the confrontation appears to be moving into a more dangerous phase.
Regional governments are urging restraint as diplomatic channels narrow and military actions intensify across multiple fronts.
Further updates will follow as verified information becomes available.
