Ethiopia claims occupation of Tigre in territory, fighting spreads in and around neighboring Countries.

Addis Ababa (ANN)-The Ethiopian government says its forces have seized control of an area in the northern region of Tigeray in two weeks of fighting, killing hundreds of people and nearly 20,000 fleeing to Sudan.
The government of Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed on Monday called for the capture of another town in northern Ti gray region, but there were no independent reports confirming the government’s claim that it had repeatedly claimed victory in the fighting despite Tigray officials denied these claims.
The Tigray regime, the TPL, fired rockets into Eritrea’s capital, Asmara, on Saturday afternoon, causing casualties. A TPLF spokesman had earlier warned that Eritrea could be targeted, accusing it of war against the Federal Government of Ethiopia.
Also, a day before the Tigrray regime, attacks and rockets were carried out late at night on November 13, 2020, at airports in the towns of Bahir Dar and Gonder in the Amhara region, with the Tigray already taking over the main military base Ethiopia in the northern city of Makale, the capital of Tigray. Speaking to reporters in Addis Ababa, Ambassador Ridwan Hussein, a member of Abiy’s group, called for a state of emergency.
The two airports in the towns of Bahir Dar, known as Ginbot 20 Airport, and near Lake Tana; Gonder Atse Tewodros Airport is located 18 km south of the town of Gonder in the Amhara region, which is bordered by the Tigray regime in the Amhara region.
Meanwhile, the bombardment caused extensive damage to the airport and deaths, according to Amhara regional officials, and also caused Ethiopian Airlines to suspend flights at the airport.
The fighting has led to widespread genocide in the war-torn areas, according to human rights officials using sporadic reports and satellite imagery from the area, although it is difficult to provide accurate information due to a lack of communication.
There have been calls for a cessation of hostilities from major powers around the world, but the parties continue to wage war that is feared to spread across the Horn of Africa, with Eritrea already hit by Ethiopian missiles in the Tigray region Eritrea’s response is unknown, and diplomatic sources say some countries involved the water of the Nile in the conflict are involved.
It is also feared that the federal government’s war on the Tigray region could spread to other parts of Ethiopia, leading to a civil war that could destabilize Ethiopia and negatively affect regional security, with the southern government Benishangul-Gumuz has been the scene of renewed ethnic clashes.
Addis Ababa’s Abiy Ahmed government has been waging a crackdown on Tigray officials, arresting nearly 100 generals and removing senior officials, exacerbating the situation and demonstrating mismanagement. Abiy’s government also arrested Oromo OLF officials accused of links to the TPLF.
November 12, 2020 The Ethiopian Federal Police have issued arrest warrants for more than 96 army generals and officials in Tigray region for alleged crimes of treason, corruption and grave human rights violations.
In a statement it dispatched to media houses, the federal police said the officials of the Tigray People Liberation Front (TPLF) and senior military officers have been accused of committing treachery by attacking the north command division of the national defense force and massacring its members.
Police’s statement blamed the senior officials, military officers including army generals whom it referred to as ‘TPLF Junta’ for joining forces with the rebel Oromo Liberation Front (OLF) to destabilize the nation.
The statement accused the ‘TPLF-Junta’ of financing the rebel OLF and providing military training to its troops in the Tigray regional state. But not all the allegations are credible.
All these issues and the steps taken by the government in unnecessary warfare and ethnic segregation clearly show that what is happening in Ethiopia is a path of ethnic warfare and is on the path of the collapsed Yugoslavia.
