.Tel Aviv / Tehran (ANN)- A new wave of missile attacks has reportedly struck multiple locations across the greater Tel Aviv area as tensions between Iran and Israel continue to intensify.
According to emerging reports, a single missile allegedly fragmented in the air and struck numerous points across the metropolitan area, including parts of Tel Aviv, Bnei Brak, and Petah Tikva. Some sources claim the missile released several sub-munitions that impacted different locations almost simultaneously.
Images circulating online appear to show significant damage to buildings and infrastructure in parts of the affected area. Reports also mention damage near energy facilities, including solar power installations and fuel stations, although the full extent of the destruction has not yet been independently confirmed.
The reported strike comes amid continued missile exchanges between Iran and Israel, with additional projectiles reportedly heading toward Ashdod while tensions remain high along Israel’s northern border near the Upper Galilee.
Military analysts say the attack may involve advanced missile technology capable of dispersing multiple warheads, which could challenge existing air-defense systems such as Israel’s Iron Dome. However, official confirmation about the exact type of missile used has not yet been provided.
Meanwhile, the United States is reported to have dispatched a Boeing C-17 Globemaster III transport aircraft to Israel carrying interceptor missiles and additional defensive equipment. The aircraft reportedly departed from Alabama and headed to Nevatim Airbase as part of efforts to reinforce Israeli air defenses after heavy operational strain in recent hours.
The escalating exchanges have raised fears of a broader regional conflict as rocket fire has also been reported from southern Lebanon toward northern Israel.
Officials in the region have yet to release a comprehensive casualty report, while international observers continue to call for urgent diplomatic efforts to prevent further escalation.
