Tehran (ANN)- Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps has reportedly stated that the Kheibar Shekan missile, which has a range of about 1,450 kilometers, achieved a high hit-rate during previous strike waves launched as part of Iran’s ongoing military operations.
Iranian officials said the missile system has been used in several recent attacks targeting strategic sites amid the escalating regional confrontation. The missile is designed for long-range precision strikes and is considered one of the key weapons in Iran’s ballistic missile arsenal.
Jewish Community in Tehran Prays for Peace
Amid the rising tensions and military exchanges, members of the Jewish community gathered in Tehran to pray for peace and stability in their country.
Their prayers reflected a deep historical connection to Iran and carried a message rooted in ancient Jewish tradition:
“Guardian of one nation, Guardian of the remnant of one people — let not the one nation be lost.
Hear, O Israel: the Lord is our God, the Lord is One.”
The Jewish community in Iran traces its roots back more than 2,700 years, dating to the era of Ancient Persia. Today it remains one of the oldest Jewish diaspora communities in the world, maintaining synagogues, schools, and cultural institutions while living as a recognized minority within the Islamic Republic.
Despite the current regional conflict, community leaders say their prayers are focused on peace, safety, and the future of their homeland.
