Tehran (ANN)- Iran says it has continued retaliatory strikes following attacks on its oil infrastructure.
According to Iran’s Islamic Republic of Iran Army, drones targeted oil and gas facilities in the Israeli port city of Haifa, including refinery and fuel storage infrastructure.
Iranian officials said the strikes were carried out in response to earlier attacks on oil depots, refineries, and fuel storage facilities inside Iran, which Tehran blamed on Israeli and allied operations.
Iran Says It Will Decide When War Ends
According to Al Jazeera, the commander of Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, Ali Abdullahi, said Iran will determine when the conflict comes to an end.
“The United States and Israel will no longer be able to start a war against us when they want, and then end it at the time they choose,” Abdullahi said. “Iran will decide when this war will end.”
He added that Ali Khamenei and Iran’s armed forces are demanding revenge for the attacks on the country.
“The Supreme Leader of the Republic and the armed forces are demanding revenge, and we have promised that revenge will continue until the enemy regrets the attacks he made and is defeated,” he said.
The exchange of strikes highlights the growing escalation of the conflict in the Middle East, raising concerns about wider regional instability and potential disruptions to global energy market.
