Middle East: missiles fly between Israel and Iran, But Trump will prepared to go in backing Israel?

Middle East (ANN)- The war has entered its fourth day, and the conflict is intensifying, creating fear and anxiety throughout the world, with an unpredictable outcome.

The Israel-Iran conflict brings more instability to the Middle East, a region with extensive US interests.

Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, Major General Abd al-Rahim Mousavi: “We warn the residents of the occupied territories, especially Tel Aviv and Haifa, to LEAVE these areas in order to preserve their LIVES!”.. The warning message was broadcast on Iranian military media recently, with similar warnings sent by Iran to Israelis in Tel Aviv, Haifa and Jerusalem on Monday night.

State Department Spokesperson Tammy Bruce holds a press briefing.  say Donald Trump has demanded Iran’s unconditional surrender saying the US may kill the country’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

Writing on Truth Social, the US President stated: “We know exactly where the so-called Supreme Leader is hiding”, and described Ayatollah Khamenei as an “easy target”. Mr Trump said: “we are not going to take him out (kill!), at least not for now”. He went on to say “our patience is wearing thin”. In another post he demanded Iran’s “unconditional surrender”.

Mr Trump held a meeting with his national security advisers at the White House as more US warplanes headed for the Middle East. There’s mounting speculation that the US could join Israel directly in its war with Iran, which began five days ago with Israeli attacks on nuclear sites. Israel has said its aim is to prevent Iran building a nuclear weapon. However many of Iran’s nuclear sites are deep underground and only the US has weapons powerful enough to threaten them. Iran warned people in Israel to evacuate the cities of Tel Aviv and Haifa.

Meinwhile In an address to the European Parliament, in Strasbourg, King Abdullah II of Jordan his speech to focus on a range of issues, including the dramatic escalation of the crisis in the Middle East, the situation in Gaza and its consequences.

He began his speech by discussing the current problems facing the world and how they are increasing, citing the great wars that have taken place in the world in the past, with Europe at the center, but he said that in the modern era, with modern weapons and technology, humanity has been lost. “I come from a region where there is a terrible conflict, in the past there was the conflict in Gaza. Now, with the ongoing war between Iran and Israel, Europe must use its power, it must not lie about its weapons and power, it must stop the war, using its resources and not losing its role.

Abdallah spoke mostly about the plight of the Palestinian people in his speech, criticizing European countries for turning a blind eye to what is happening in Gaza for twenty months.


He cited the example of the efforts made by European countries in the war in Ukraine three years ago, but when Israel bombed hospitals in Gaza, they were surprised. “You all have what happened that was beyond humanity, you have all the documents from Gaza, but unfortunately you have remained silent. Don’t the Palestinian people have the right to live, to be a nation, to have the freedom that other societies in the world, including Europe, have.”

King Abdallaha criticized the role of the European Union’s lack of leadership and silence in the escalating problems and conflicts. His speech was delivered with confidence, and the attention of the members of the European Parliament was drawn to his speech, which was applauded for its criticism of the European Union.

This is King Abdullah II’s sixth visit to the European Parliament, following his previous visits in 2002, 2007, 2012, 2015 and 2020.
