Tehram (ANN)- Unconfirmed reports circulating from regional sources claim that a covert operation by the elite U.S. special operations unit Delta Force inside Iran ended in failure, with Iranian forces allegedly capturing several American soldiers.
According to the reports, the U.S. unit was attempting to conduct a secret mission deep inside Iranian territory when the operation reportedly fell under the control of Iranian security forces.
Officials in Tehran are said to have issued a strong warning following the incident, declaring that any foreign military incursion on Iranian soil would carry severe consequences. A message attributed to Iranian sources stated: “This is Iran, not Venezuela,” underscoring Tehran’s stance against external intervention.
If confirmed, the development would represent a dramatic escalation in the already volatile confrontation between United States and Iran, as tensions across the Middle East continue to intensify amid ongoing military strikes and retaliatory attacks.
However, no official confirmation has yet been issued by the Pentagon or independent international media, and the reports remain unverified at this stage.
