Tehran (ANN)– Masoud Pezeshkian has declared his readiness to sacrifice his life for Iran, as millions of citizens join a growing national movement amid escalating tensions with the United States and Israel.
In a statement shared on his official X (formerly Twitter) account on Tuesday, President Pezeshkian praised the widespread public response to the “Janfadaa (self-sacrifice) for Iran” campaign, describing it as a powerful demonstration of unity and patriotism.
The initiative, launched through the Janfadaa.ir platform, encourages Iranians to voluntarily express their willingness to defend the country’s sovereignty and territorial integrity in the face of what Tehran describes as rising military threats, including a potential ground invasion.
According to the president, more than 14.2 million Iranians had already registered their commitment to the movement by early Tuesday afternoon. The participants reportedly include citizens from all walks of life, as well as senior military and government officials.
Pezeshkian emphasized that he stands alongside the people, stating that he has always been—and will remain—ready to sacrifice himself for the nation.
The campaign has rapidly evolved into a symbol of national solidarity, reflecting deep-rooted patriotism and collective resolve among the Iranian population during a period of heightened regional tensions.
