Premier Bank, It seems that the bank that manages the e-visa payments is being used by Hassan Sheikh for political gain by using the power of the government. “I have made efforts to ensure that the name of this bank is not exposed abroad and is destroyed if the bank gets involved in this political fight,” said businessman Ismail Ahmed, owner of World Remeit.

“But unfortunately that was not possible. It seems that the bank is being hijacked and the decision on this matter is not in their hands. he added in a statement that he discussed the matter.

The Bank involved in this process is Premier Bank. I call on the management and shareholders to address this issue, which is a threat to the bank itself, and save the bank from this political war that is being used.

Also, businessman Ismail said that after discussions and debates, it has come to my attention that the e-visa will fail if Premier Bank stops. There is no other bank that can technically or legally handle this money collected from abroad. This is why the Hassan Sheikh government is sticking to this Bank.

He suggested to the customers connected to the bank (of which I am one) that they should wait for the management and owners of Premier Bank to inform them.

Although he said that most of the wealthy people did not have any information about this matter, “because the work has been carried out in secret until now”. Please, let us be given a chance to inform them. he said.

The owner of World Remit, who has been vocal about this issue since the E-visa dispute between Somaliland and Somalia broke out, said, “We have been hearing a lot about not politicizing business. We have also heard before that not politicizing the air. Hassan Sheikh has politicized everything. He is using it as a “political weapon” to fight Somaliland and anyone who opposes him. I recommend that this issue be discussed and advised. he added.

Premier Bank has not responded to allegations that it is working on political issues, which are against the sovereignty of the Republic of Somaliland. This is not the first time that the bank has been linked to scandalous and political issues that are caught in the political conflict between the Republic of Somaliland and the Federal Government of Somalia.
