The Head of State, His Excellency Ismail Omar Guelleh, on Tuesday inaugurated a new medical facility of regional importance, Al Shifa Hospital, located on Venice Road.
Built over a span of 4 years, the hospital building inaugurated today is erected on a total surface of 32,000 square meters, of which 22,000 are built-in spaces.
It was realized under the direct impulse of the President of the Republic, His Excellency Ismail Omar Guelleh, with a fund derived exclusively from the National Social Security Fund (CNNS).
If he is assisted by 150 beds in 220, he has an established capacity to provide services to more than 500 patients per day.
Its technical plate consisting of state-of-the-art equipment also gives it the possibility to record its operations and treatments in almost-absolute precision.
Al-Shifa Hospital further enhances its merit by providing healthcare in all medical specialties including Cardiology, Oncology, Gynecology, Neurosurgery, Nephrology, ENT, Ophthalmology, General Surgery and Urology…
It is in this that he has a profile attributed significantly to the completion of the expensive and arduous travels that our compatriots undertake abroad to receive health care that was not available until then on the national territory.

In addition to the Prime Minister, Mr. Abdoulkader Kamil Mohamed and all the members of the Government, including, the Minister of Labor, Formalization and Social Protection (Ministry to which the CNSS belongs), Omar Abdi Said, the President of the National Assembly, Mr. Dileita Mohamed Dileita, took part in this meeting.
