Mogadishu (ANN)-The Council of Ministers of the Federal Republic of Somalia issued a decision on Monday saying that it has cut ties with the United Arab Emirates government.
According to the statement of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Federal Government of Somalia, it is mentioned in the text that they have canceled all the agreements made with the United Arab Emirates government, including the government agencies, and the regional authorities in Somalia.
also, it was said that after today all the activities carried out by the United Arab Emirates in the cities of Berbera, Bosaso, and Kismayo will be stopped.
The council said this action came after they received reports that they could make a decision, “This decision is related to strong reports and evidence about illegal measures to harm sovereignty, national unity, and independencepolitics of the country”, said the stated.
In the statement of the Federal Government of Somalia, it was noted that the areas where the agreements were canceled include the strategic port of Berbera
Which DP World owned by the UAE entered into an investment agreement with the Government of the Republic of Somaliland, while the Federal Government did nothing to role of Agreement, and it has nothing to do with it as stated by Somaliland Presidency Minister Khadar Looge.

UAE confused how they could not differentiate between Al-Shabaab groups and the officials of the Federal Government of Somalia.
