Somaliland President Delegation High-level Visit to Doha, Security and Investment talks

Hargeisa (ANN)- The President of the Republic of Somaliland Abdirahman Mohamed Abdilahi (Cirro) and his delegation led by Doha today after a formal invitation from Qatari government.


According to statement  Presidential Office say, with delegation expected to remain in Doha for several days. ” The visit will serve as a gateway to stronger country corporate governance between Somaliland and Doha ”

Presidential Spokesperson Hussein Aden Ige (Dayr) said that the delegation will meet with Qatari government leaders during their stay in Doha to discuss the interests of the two countries, the Republic of Somaliland and Qatar; In particular, security and stability in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden and the Horn of Africa will be discussed, as well as cooperation, investment, economic development, investment, economic development and social issues.

“The visit of the President of the Republic of Somaliland to Qatar reflects the momentum and work of the President of Somaliland and the enrichment of the Foreign Policy and the active relations that Somaliland has with the International Community,” said Hussein Dayr.

The President’s trip marked the first visit by a President of the Republic of Somaliland to Qatar.

The delegation traveled to a private plane, Somaliland President  and his delegation that includes the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Abdirahman Dahir Adan, Minister of the presidency Khadar Xuseen (Looge), Minister of Interior and National Security, Abdallah Mohamed Arab, The Minister  of Religious Affairs, Sheikh Abdullah Dahir Jama (Bashe), Head of the President’s Office (Chief of Staff) ,Abdulkadir Salah Eidleh, as well as his Economic Affairs Adviser.
