Somaliland President held an international converence at meeting with the President of Israel and Eric Trump

Switzerland (ANN)- The President of the Republic of Somaliland, Mr. Abdirahman Mohamed Abdilahi (Cirro) last night in Davos, Switzerland, held a historic dinner meeting with the President of Israel, Mr. Isaac Herzog and Eric Trump, the son of the President of the United States.

This meeting was a meeting that opened a new historical page for diplomatic relations and strategic cooperation between the two countries of Somaliland and Israel.

In this meeting, which took place in an atmosphere of mutual respect, trust and mutual interest, the two Presidents discussed in depth the essential interests of both parties, especially the strengthening of government relations, the development of cooperation in the fields of security and defenseTechnology, Agriculture, Water, Health, Energy and Minerals, the development of social cooperation, and how the two countries can work together for peace and stability in the Horn of Africa.
The president of the Republic of Somaliland thanked the President, the Government and the People of Israel deeply for the official recognition given by the Government of Israel to the Republic of Somaliland on 26.12.2025which after 34 years has really confirmed the right of the people of the Republic of Somaliland to be an independent government in the international community.
In addition, the two Presidents were accompanied by the son of the President of the United States called Eric Trump.

The President of the Republic of Somaliland assured the President of Israel that the Republic of Somaliland is a true and reliable friend, and its people will never forget anyone who pays tribute to them. President Abdirahman Cirro also noted that Somaliland is a peaceful, responsible country characterized by stability, democracy, good governance and the rule of law.

This historic meeting between the two Presidents of Israel and the Republic of Somaliland and the son of the President of the United States clearly shows that the Republic of Somaliland has entered a new phase of international recognition, trust and friendship, and continues to do sostrengthening its role as a responsible country that can contribute to world peace and security.
