Switzerland Davos (ANN)-The Gaza peace committee was announced at the World Economic Forum in Davos.
The son-in-law of President Trump, Jared Kushner, along with Steve Witkoff, was one of the leaders of the forum announced in the Gaza peace committee.
Jared Kushne, the US Special Envoy for Middle East Peace and Abraham Accord.
Jared Kushne and Steve Witkoff were on the panel with Secretary of State Marco Rubio who appeared in Davos.
The peace committee named by President Donald Trump has been officially presented at the World Economic Forum.
The initiative aims to resolve international conflicts through diplomacy, reconstruction, and international cooperation, with Gaza as a test case.
The announcement underscored Washington’s push to renew the world peace framework.
US President Donald Trump’s main goal in Davos was to participate in the announcement of the charter and the signing ceremony of the Peace Committee of the World Economic Forum 2026.
At the meeting, the leaders initially focused on the reconstruction of Gaza, but it appears that they did not clearly define the resolution of the international conflicts under the theme of peace in Gaza and in general the sensitive issues of the Middle East.
Jared Kushne and Steve Witkoff, presented at the forum the plans that cost trillions of dollars that were said to have been spent in Gaza.
The delegation unveiled policies like an AI innovation hub and Next-Gen Life Sciences Policy aiming for $25 billion in investments and 500,000 jobs through projects such as Green Pharma City.
Key wins include a ₹5,000 crore AI-ready data center with UPC Volt, Schneider Electric’s ₹623 crore plant expansions, and L’Oréal’s €350 million Beauty-Tech center creating 2,000 jobs in Hyderabad. Reddy also proposed annual WEF follow-ups in Hyderabad and held constructive talks with Andhra Pradesh’s IT Minister on shared growth in IT and skills.
“The Abraham Accords have transformed the Middle East. Now is the time to expand this circle of peace to the benefit of peoples across the region.” said the President of Israel Isaac Herzog , speaking at the conference.
The presidency of Trump, is believed to have shown the participation of selected nations although there is concern about the integration of the United Nations.

This became a great political opportunity for Somaliland, where President Abdirahman Mohamed Abdillahi (Cirro) spoke about the issue of Somaliland at a forum where major countries of the world met.
President Abdirahman also held various meetings with world leaders and heads of major companies interested in investing in Somaliland, and it is possible that Somaliland will sign the Abraham Accords, which President Trump and his Israeli allies attach great importance to.
