Kampla (ANN)’-Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni has won the country’s election, and this is the seventh time he has returned to power. He is currently 81 years old.
The electoral commission of the country announced the results of the election after a strong campaign in the country ended and the votes cast by the people were counted.
The opposition who wanted to win was unable to plan to prevent Museveni from returning to power. A campaign was launched by the opposition. Although there is no internet in the whole country.
Finally, the Ugandan Electoral Commission announced that the 81-year-old President Museveni won 71.65 percent of the votes cast, which means more than 2/3 of the votes cast in the election.
