Tel Aviv / Tehran (ANN)- Reports circulating in regional media have sparked widespread speculation after Tasnim News Agency claimed that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu may have been killed or seriously wounded during recent retaliatory strikes.
The claims, which remain unverified, quickly spread across international media platforms, prompting intense debate and speculation about the situation in Israel’s leadership.
Absence Raises Questions
Speculation intensified after Netanyahu reportedly remained absent from public appearances for four consecutive days, with previously scheduled video messages canceled without explanation.
In addition, reports indicated that a planned visit by a senior U.S. envoy was abruptly canceled, further fueling questions about developments behind the scenes.
So far, Israeli officials have not issued a formal statement confirming or denying the reports, maintaining silence regarding the Iranian media claims.
No Independent Confirmation
There has been no independent confirmation from Israeli authorities, Western governments, or international intelligence agencies supporting the reports.
Analysts note that during periods of conflict and information warfare, unverified claims can spread rapidly, particularly when both sides attempt to shape public perception.
The lack of official clarification has nevertheless intensified speculation across global media as the regional conflict between Israel and Iran continues to escalate.
Observers say confirmation or denial from Israeli authorities will be critical in determining the credibility of the claims.
