Will the United States attack Iran?

Washington (ANN)-  The United States has announced a major air force exercise in the Middle East, a day after the USS Abraham Lincoln aircraft carrier strike group arrived in the region.

Donald Trump pledged to help Iranian protesters weeks ago, even though there are no signs of any demonstrations taking place inside Iran.

Statistics so far for the protests, which were part of a campaign to overthrow the Iranian government, have failed, according to Iranian officials, and the number of people killed and arrested varies, according to reports from Iranian government sources and other sources citing human rights activists inside Iran.

The USS Abraham Lincoln aircraft carrier group has set sail from South China and arrived in the Middle East region, specifically the Arabian Sea, at the mouth of the Strait of Hormuz.

Will the United States attack Iran?

The question has been raised since the 12-day Iran-Israel war, in which the United States was involved, and a nighttime strike on Iranian nuclear facilities.

Donald Trump said a “major armada” was heading towards Iranian waters, led by the nuclear-powered USS Abraham Lincoln and a large strike group.

Fighter jets, destroyers, thousands of troops, and US bases in West Asia are showing heavy pressure.

Diplomatic efforts to stop the attack

Meanwhile, Iran has been responding with warnings, threats, and threats of “a crushing response,” backed by allied militias.

Gulf states are also expressing deep concern about the consequences of an unprovoked attack on Iran, with some warning that their air force could be used against Iran.
They also made diplomatic efforts to stop the attack, although it is not known where it ended up.

RelatedUAE Warns of Possible Iranian Attack Amid USS Abraham Lincoln Movement

There is great concern and fear in the region, as the movement of the USS Abraham Lincoln has further heightened tensions, showing that war is not inevitable and is being waged by the United States and its allies Israel and Iran, which has warned that the situation will not be one of response only if attacked, but that any attack will not be limited to a response, but that the war will not stop if a bullet leaves its throat, according to Iranian military officials who spoke to the media in recent hours.

Iran has also prepared everything it wants to defend itself and its intended targets, repeatedly threatening to attack US bases in the region and beyond, as happened a few months ago when the US said it had attacked Iranian nuclear sites, although Iran shot down one of the US aircraft carrying the USS Abraham Lincoln.

Some reports say that the US wants to attack Iran’s nuclear facilities and other important sites again, although it is not known for sure where Iran’s nuclear sites are.

Also, the targets could include the leaders of the Revolutionary Guards and leaders such as the highly respected cleric in Iran and the Islamic world, Ayatollah Khomeini. But such steps, if attempted by the United States, could lead to major disasters that could lead to conflicts in the region that cannot be avoided, or where they will end, and could undermine the stability of the world, which is not currently based on solid pillars.
