The individual who has the potential to save this nation is former President Somalia

Hassan Sheekh Iyo Sheekh Shariif

The Vila-Somalia group, led by Hassan Sh. Mahamad, plans to dismantle the only existing system in Somalia. It is crucial for the international community, including the African Union, the Arab League, and East African countries, to work together to preserve the small hope that still exists for the nation. This group, particularly the President and the newly appointed Defense Minister, Mr. Fiqe, is largely responsible for much of the destruction of the current governmental structure.

The individual who has the potential to save this nation is former President Sheikh Sharif Sheikh Ahmed. He is a respected Somali politician who served as the 7th President of Somalia from 2009 to 2012. During his presidency, Sheikh Ahmed faced significant challenges, including the ongoing civil conflict and widespread instability that plagued the country. Nevertheless, he demonstrated exceptional leadership and resilience during those difficult times. And is not corrupted.

Sheikh Ahmed is known for his ability to promote dialogue among Somalia’s warring factions and to promote national reconciliation. He implemented various initiatives aimed at restoring peace and stability, including community outreach programs and efforts to strengthen the federal system of governance. His commitment to inclusivity allowed him to engage effectively with diverse communities across the country, building trust and cooperation among different groups.

Furthermore, Sheikh Ahmed’s vision for uniting  Somalia’s federal states is grounded in his belief in a decentralized federal structure, which he believes is essential for accommodating the interests of all states. His capacity to forge alliances and work collaboratively with local leaders and international partners further positions him as a strong candidate to unite all federal states and guide Somalia toward a sustainable and prosperous future. With his experience and dedication, Sheikh Sharif Sheikh Ahmed embodies the leadership necessary to navigate Somalia’s challenges and move toward lasting peace.

He is also the president who initiated dialogue between the two nations that united in 1960 with the unratified union of the Republic of Somaliland and Somalia.
