Ankara(ANN)-Turkey joined the countries that summoned their ambassadors from Israel, as last week Jordan, Bolivia, Colombia, and Chile summoned their ambassadors from Israel.
The diplomatic action against Israel was the result of the war Israel and its allies attacked in Gaza, which caused the massacre and at the same time made the situation very terrifying. There is also a growing fear that the war will spread to the Middle East.
Turkey has recalled its ambassador to Tel Aviv for consultations against the backdrop of the relentless Israeli genocide campaign in the besieged Gaza Strip.
The Turkish Foreign Ministry said in a statement that “in view of the unfolding humanitarian tragedy in Gaza caused by the continuing attacks by Israel against civilians, and Israel’s refusal of calls for a cease-fire and continuous and unhindered flow of humanitarian aid, it was decided to recall our Ambassador in Tel Aviv, Sakir Ozkan Torunlar, to Ankara for consultations.”
