Assessing and calculating Lloyd’s list, the shipments heading west across the main waterway are estimated to be worth about $ 5.1 billion per day, while cargo heading east is valued at about $ 4.5 billion.

The Ever Given is one of the largest container ships in the world., Ever Given was built three years ago, at the time of 2018, Imabari Shipbuilding.
