The Republic Of Somaliland Must Secure It’s All Boundaries Land Air And Sea
Somaliland must seize and fully protect it’s All borders including the Eastern Boders becouse puntland which is Somalia’s federal Autonomous region maintains to claim illegally the ownership of those Eastern regions of somaliland (I.e Sool,And Sanaag regions). On behalf of the people of Sool, and Sanaag we support the struggle in which the Somaliland Authorities wish to seize and secure All Eastern boundaries of the republic of somaliland which it shares with somalia.
The people of Sool and Sanaag are proud to be Somalilnaders and they are not apologizing this for no one. As we all know that there is no a country called “Somalia” that exists but it’s ” a failed state ” ravaged by ongoing wars, in the past three decades. The people of Somalia have been living in fear for the past three decades. Still after three decades or more the conflict in Somalia continues where the people of Somalia have adopted those ongoing wars and it becomes their ways of daily lives.
What’s role of the people Sool, and Sanaag regions ?
The population of Sool and Sanaag are geographically part of the republic of Somaliland. This is known officially “the British protectorate Somaliland “during the Brtish Colonial era.
So those people must be part of the modern Somaliland Governance system. Of course the people of those regions are happy to be part of thee republic of Somaliland wether it’s either geographically, historically and politically. Forget about Somalia because the reunification of Somalia was like a dream that never came true. It was the people of Somaliland whom firstly established this old dream and lastly it became “a failed dream “.
Therefore on behalf of the people of Sool and Sanaag regions , I support the republic of Somaliland’s polottical agendas towards the securing of the Eastern Borders , this is very important because our Government has the right to protect it’s National security. We must also show the international community that the republic of Somaliland is not officially part of Somalia. But it’s an independent republic that achieved promoting peace, democracy and Stability in its own territories. The republic of Somaliland has also took part the stability of the horn of Africa region. a burning region where various hostilities have been maintaining all the times. Therefore the international community must realize that the republic of Somaliland is, “a horn of Africa pearl” of democracy, and stablity. So it’s really hard the time where the international community will realize the existance of the republic of somaliland an independent state from Somalia and they must stop undermining the people of Somaliland’s self determination for a being an independent state.
The self determination of the republic of Somaliland is a public choice where the Somaliland citizens have voted for a political separatism of the republic in a majority votes in the year 2001. Neither Somalia nor the other parties can reject the public self determinations.
Therefore it’s time reached where the international community and Somalia to recognize the republic of Somaliland. If they reject and continue their jealousy against the people and the nation of Somaliland, let me tell them that the republic of Somaliland enjoys its people’s recognition and independent state and this most important assets that our country has all the times in the history.
