Addis Ababa (ANN)-The United States has warned of possible terrorist attacks in Ethiopia, and the State Department has strongly warned citizens in Ethiopia.

Therefore, U.S. citizens are strongly encouraged to maintain a high level of vigilance and avoid areas frequented by foreigners, the Statement added.

Also, the statement said that the State Department has U.S. citizens still in Addis Ababa have been warned to stay away from public places, and Monitor local media for updates, and exercise extra caution.
The warning was issued with caution in the vicinity of Ethiopian government buildings, as well as in public places and markets.

Diplomats crossing to the warring factions in recent weeks have expressed frustration after Prime Minister Abiy abruptly announced on Monday that he’s leading the fight and going to the battlefield, signalling that all doors and hopes had been closed.
Both sides ignored to stop fighting and come to the negotiating table.
