LasAnod(ANN)- The situation in the city of LasAnod, the capital of Sool region, has turned into a war zone, after the war started yesterday.

This war started when they released a statement from the Alders who had been meeting in the capital of the Sool region for the last few weeks.

Somaliland’s Information Minister, Sulayman Yusuf Ali (Koore) , said that Somaliland’s national forces defended themselves against groups that he described as terrorist groups and the militias of the Puntland administration of the PSF, which captured by many prisoners.

 

Minister Koore, who is in Las Anod, said this in a brief statement posted on the Somaliland Ministry of Information’s Twitter page.

 

“The National Army of the Republic of Somaliland, which is defending itself from the attacks of terrorist groups, has captured prisoners of war who were among the terrorists, as well as members of the PSF forces of the Puntland Regional Government and local people who have been misled.”

 

 

Sulayman Yusuf Ali (Koore), Somaliland’s Information Minister, stated that “the Government of the Republic of Somaliland has released the prisoners born in the area and those who were involved in the war in LasAnod, whose relatives were handed over today,” according to the Government Spokesman.

 

Earlier, the Somaliland government issued a statement on the issue of LasAnod, and said in its statement, “The council informs the public and the international community that the Somaliland nation is at war with international terrorist groups, which have been plotting acts of insecurity in LasAnod. said the Somaliland Statement.

The Minister of Internal Affairs of Somaliland, Mohamed Kahin, yesterday, while in LasAnod, spoke to the media and said that “Alders’ statement was filled with blood and the conflict they were already calling for.” And he went on to say that the war going on in LasAnod is the war they have already declared.
